The Titan™ Laser is the trademark name given to a skin tightening procedure that is also known as the “non surgical face lift”. After years of development and testing, we can offer a non-surgical, non-ablative, skin enhancement procedure from CUTERA called Titan™ Tissue Tightening.
The Titan™ Laser is one of the latest skin tightening lasers in a growing market of non surgical face lift alternatives. In fact, the Titan™ procedure is the first non-surgical, light-based system approved by the FDA for the safe treatment of lax and/or redundant skin, reversing the signs of aging, safely, comfortably, with no downtime. The Titan™ procedure utilizes a safe infrared light source to apply heat to the dermis, causing immediate collagen contraction. Unlike other skin-tightening procedures that use heat sources, this infrared technology does not cause death, or necrosis, to the subcutaneous layers of the skin. Moreover, the Titan™ laser protects the epidermis through continuous contact cooling.
The Titan™ Laser is used to combat aging by stimulating the collagen below the skin. As an individual's skin ages the collagen fibers become longer, resulting in skin’s sagging. The Titan™ Laser first uniformly heats the weaker collagen which causes it to immediately contract and thicken. Patients see immediate results, but the benefits continue as the collagen is stimulated into a long-term rebuilding process. New collagen is created in the months following the procedure, leaving patients with tighter, younger-looking skin on the face, neck and throughout the body, including abdomen and thighs. TITAN™ is without peer as a treatment for the loose skin often found on older necks and is very effective for the sagging skin found under upper arms.
